So, let's see who can do it, and if they'd be willing to release it..
-Hopefully it will save, so when you close the interface or log out, it won't go back to normal.
Well, if you do this for me, you will truly be one of the greatest Java-Skilled persons I know.

It wouldn't be that hard....
Steps:
1. Team of 400+ People with incredible skill and talent
2. Work on it for 4 solid months
3. Understand a Runescape Private Server and have the source code memorized in and out, as well as the client.
4. Throw your computer out the window in frustration :P

You don't need 400+ ppl or work for like 4 months, you need good coding skills and a lot of knowledge about runescape coding.

I think this is made by a in-game model creator.
A client sided model creator to be specific and its linked server side
basically you get to chose from a few colors and looks then when you hit confirm it is saved client + server side.
Again this is only a thought (:

I realize this thread is 10 days old but if I may put my two cents...
The customizable items are all perceived via byte code, I.E.:the server sends a byte code(if i'm not mistaken the colors are in 6-digit hex) for each part(color, graphic, etc) to the client which then deciphers it and puts said byte to action. the easy part is finding the byte code that you need, and the hard part is not much harder, which is applying to those bytes the proper ints, so that you may save them separate for each player as opposed to only editing them for the whole server(refer to the Mobilising Armies and Loyalty titles).
Also imo the hardest part is getting the client to send the right colors to send via the interface, but that may be just me.

All it is is something with the appearance block rofl.. It really isn't complicated enough to require 400 people. The thing is, finding and converting the custom block from a real 657+ deob..
It is probably just a bunch of hex color codes in a big list that is saved to each player block for each item. I mean seriously. All these people messing with the models themselves is on crack because there is gfx in the server that change the color of your armour ffs. If a simple gfx can do it, then there shouldn't require any model editing.
