How should I get defense?

I have a zerk. It has like 18k or 19k xp defense xp from Dragon Slayer. It's like 30-33 def. I have 40k def xp left to go. Should I just train it on NPCS? What quests should i do if i should NOT train it?

Here are all the quests that DO give def xp and the amount too
