I'm bored of all of the server sources out, and I myself for one, same as many others, can't stand even hearing the name Delta/DeltaScape.
But now, I've decided, since Delta is so simple, and there's finally a decent delta base worth editing out(EuroScape) then why not perfect it?
So anyway, I am currently working on the EuroScape source released by Lost Valentino/CorbyxEvolution, and I'm going to basically clean it up and do a lot more.
Things I plan to do:
Make every single door in the server work
Make all teleports teleport you to the same location as it does in real runescape
Make an assist system
Fix the godwars dungeon to give a specific kc + to the specific boss's race you kill. (Example. Killing 1 goblin will give 1 bandos killcount instead of giving +1 to all race kc's like it currently does.)
Adding a server bot(More info on it later, been working on the server bot for months.)
Adding all of the original list of 13 quests in runescape with the exact requirements etc. No half ass quests.
Adding new map data for a donator city, with houses, shops, a few quests etc. all for donators only.
Make it hold at least 800+ without any lag. (Going to host it on a 16gb dedi for people to test while I code.
Adding the real path to the godwars dungeon.
Making it so you must have the knight's notes before you can get any rare drops at godwars(like hilts etc.)
Adding npc clipping for tzhaar so the npcs can't clip through the walls.
Adding all godsword hilts & shards, you'll be able to put them together to make a godsword.
Add the delta castle wars released by Aintaro, and perfect it.
And a lot more.
Some of you may think that this is pointless, but if you think about it, we all hate shit sources, and if so many people are using deltascape as their base, then someone ought to get off their ass and make it worth using.
I've got some friends that are going to do testing, but I'll release a client for anyone that wants to help do testing.
I'm releasing the source when I'm done, which won't be for another month or 2 probably.
But I'll be hosting it in about 30 minutes 24/7 for the next 2 months for beta.
I'll keep this thread up to date with what I do/add/edit etc.
If you're interested in helping feel free to reply, but please, no beginners etc. I don't want to be doing all the coding and teaching someone, I want to code and have fun.
