Best source to get players?

If you're a confident programmer, go for making your own completely from scratch. Otherwise, if you can't, use a blank source. I'd personally prefer you use a stable, blank source and work on it on your own, rather than taking one that already has everything someone wants and isn't all that great (programming wise).

It's best to work on something completely blank (i.e. Hyperion, osvetu, unendlichkeit, etc).

Edit: Let you know this is only my opinion. Most people enjoy bases with dickloads of materials already in. But I'd much rather play something that was based off a blank source.

As already mentioned in the above post's. Start with a blank stable source and develop it from there. Maybe set-up a project on RuneLocus and set some realistic goals. I don't suggest downloaded a whored base / source and leeching it. Think outside the box.

Yes, Aff is right, If your a Good coder/proggrammer start off as a Totally Blank Source.

If you're going for a 317 blank source, I highly recommend Hyperion. Just a heads up. :P

This is why I suggest reading up on some guides for how to program. I suggest these guides (Only the registered members can see the link.), as many people have referred me here when I was learning. It's useful and teaches you a general overview of everything in Java.

Once you know how to generally program, any source becomes easy. :P
