I have both, I play the ps3 and never the Xbox, It's all down to opinion, they pretty much do the same thing, I use ps3 because all my m8s use it, if they used Xbox I would use Xbox.

It depends on what you want really. You'll find that 90% more people use microphones on Live then PSN.
360 has a bigger game library compared to the PS3, but if your into better graphics (very small differences) then use the PS3.

Though I'm not much of a console gamer; I prefer Live.

ofc, trade that xshit 360 in for a playstation 3.

too many kids have xbox 360 cuz it's cheaper therefore alot more kids plays c.o.d and halo on xbox, which would you rather play a game with a bunch of immature kids or play with real pro's

ps3 299.99 (with blu-ray) > xbox360 199.99(scratchable disc) win.

No,
I own a ps3 for almost 2 years, and an xbox for half a year.
And I have played more on my xbox.

PS3 w/ 160GB HDD is $199 and has a blu-ray player (for all you blu-ray haters, go to your local Best Buy and see if they have a set up comparing regular DvDs to Blu-Rays, there is a difference), free to play online and porn. For the spare $200 + XBL fees, you could get an external hard drive to even up the disk space and a few games.

PS3 got hacked, yes. But the exploits been fixed and it's all running smoothly.

Live is 50-60 dollars a YEAR, it has a lot more games, and more user-friendly than PS3.

I know it is $50-60 dollars a year, which adds another game to my pile wth the money I'm saving.
I actually like the PS3s main menu more than Xbox and find it easier to use, but that just me, I'm sure you feel the same about your Xbox, it's what we are used too.
Your exclusives aren't all that appealing to me either, Halo is shit, I've heard Gears of War is fun, for a few days.

I'm not saying Xbox is bad, just that the pros of a PS3 out weight those of a Xbox.

@2k, We have Netflix and a Media Center.

Idiot, Halo won many awards, including GOTY, which means it's at least half decent.

Overall, the Halo series has been well received by critics. Halo: Combat Evolved has received numerous Game of the Year awards.[164][165] In March 2007, IGN listed it as the top Xbox game of all time, while readers ranked it the fourteenth best game ever on "IGN Readers' Choice 2006 - The Top 100 Games Ever".[166][167] Conversely, GameSpy ranked Halo: Combat Evolved tenth on its list of "Top 25 Most Overrated Games of All Time", citing repetitive level design and the lack of an online multiplayer mode.[168] Halo 2 also received numerous awards,[169] with IGN listing it as the number two top Xbox game of all time in March 2007.[166] From its initial release on the Xbox in November 2004 until the launch of Gears of War on the Xbox 360 in November 2006 - two years later - Halo 2 was the most popular video game on Xbox Live.[170] Halo 3 was nominated for and won multiple awards; it won Time magazine's "Game of the Year" and IGN chose it as the Best Xbox 360 Online Multiplayer Game and Innovative Design of 2007.[171][172][173] Most publications called the multiplayer aspect one of the best features; IGN said the multiplayer map lineup was the strongest of the series, and GameSpy added that the multiplayer offering will greatly please "Halo veterans".[174][175] Complaints focused on the game's plot. The New York Times said the game had a "throwaway" plot and Total Video Games judged the single-player aspect ultimately disappointing.[176][177] The series' music and audio has received enthusiastic response from game reviewers.[175][178][179]

Gears of War is incredible, in my opinion.

Leading up to the game's release, Gears of War was one of the most anticipated games of 2006.[65] The game premiered during the 2005 E3 show, and won, among others,[66] several "Best 360 Game" awards, including from IGN,[67] 1UP,[68] and Gamespy.[69] The game continued to win several awards at following 2006 E3 show prior to the game's release.[70] These included the Game Critics Awards for "Best Console Game" and "Best Action Game",[71] IGN's "Best 360 Action Game", "Best 360 Multiplayer Game", and "Best Overall Multiplayer Experience",[72] and Gamespy's "Best Console Multiplayer", "Best Action Game", and "Xbox 360 Game of Show".[73]
Upon release, Gears of War received numerous awards from many publications. IGN named Gears of War as the "Xbox 360 Game of the Year" among other awards.[74] GameSpot named the game its "Game of the Year" as well as "Best Xbox 360 Game", among other accolades.[75] Official Xbox Magazine named their game as their "Xbox 360 Game of the Year".[citation needed] G4 TV during the 2007 G-Phoria awards, named Gears of War its "Game of the Year" in addition to other awards.[76]
Gears of War won several awards at the 2007 Interactive Achievement Awards at the D.I.C.E. Summit, including "Overall Game of the Year", "Console Game of the Year", and "Action/Adventure Game of the Year", and "Outstanding Achievements" in Animation, Art Direction, Visual Engineering, and Online Gameplay.[77] The game received the awards of "Ultimate Game of the Year" and "Xbox Game of the Year" at the 2007 Golden Joystick Awards.[78]
In addition, the characters within the game received additional awards. Gamespot gave their 2006 "Best New Character(s)" award to the Delta Squad of Gears of War.[75] G4 TV named Willow Clapham the "Best New Character" and gave Lester Speight's performance for "Augustus ‘Cole Train’ Cole" the award for "Best Voiceover". The game was given the Interactive Achievement Award for "Outstanding Character Performance - Male" for its voicework.[77] The Berserkers were named as Official Xbox Magazine's "Enemy of the Year".[citation needed]
Guinness World Records awarded Gears of War with 5 world records in the Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition 2008. These records include, "First Console Game to Use the Unreal 3 Engine", "Fastest Selling Original Xbox 360 Game", and "First Music Single to Top the Chart After Promoting a Video Game" for the Gary Jules version of "Mad World", which was originally released in 2003, but topped the download charts in November 2006 after it was used as background music during the TV commercial for Gears of War.[citation needed]

Xbox also has Forza, Alan Wake, Dead Rising 1, Fable 1-2 (1 is Xbox, but it works on 360 aswell), Too Human, thousands of arcade games, etc.
I only got the best ones, there are many, many other smaller games.

PSN is £0 a year, Has just as much games - and better exclusives, PS3 is aimed at older people. hurp

I think they're the same crap though. (I'm playing XBOX more than my ps3 atm because my friends have xbox)
However PS3 does have better exclusives though. (Little big planet, Uncharted, DW7: XL etc vs Halo, Forza (fair dos tht's ok), etc)

I personally don't like the analog, it's hard to get a grip on, and the buttons are really flat and low, making it hard to reach. Other than that, I hate the size of it. If Hutch were here, he would say that the Xbox controller is to big, I think it's just his small hands.

I personally think it's shit. I've played Halo 2, 3 and Reach at friend's houses and thought it was bad every time. A bunch of awards is always nice but it doesn't assure that the game is liked by all.

Also, when GoW 3 came out, everyone loved it. Now, I see people trying to sell them on Facebook.

Not everyone likes the online and horde mode. Some people just play to follow the story line. I personally don't like the online from GoW 2+, but horde-mode is great.
