Only the registered members can see the link.

This site has been programmed entirely by Joshua who had asked me to help him gather some more suggestions and people trying it out. This hasn't exactly been released to the public yet, as it's still in development fixing the bugs and implementing things that he finds important.

Okay, so rs-ps.net gives you a chance to register a free subdomain on our host, and with that.. a website designed as the runescape website was, in 2007.

It's still in development, and needs more suggestions!

So far, as of 17/06/2010, the site offers a website front page with a news system, news archive, "read more" links which take you to another application which displays the whole news article in one page, and an application where you can create your own pages using HTML/Text/BBCode. Along with creating your own site, comes the editors. The editors are simple to use as long as you don't think about it too much, the main front page editor is a visual-editor, if yo uwish, it replicates, as close as possible, the front page - only with fields to edit the information rather than just see it (this is not as practical as you'd think, as the replication on the editor is not at all accurate). The site also offers applications to manage news articles, and manage the seperate pages you want to create.

This is the run down however Joshua (the creator of the site) is very concerned about the ease of use of this website.

He asked me to get your ideas on this because myself have had some problems (and en-counted some glitches with this web builder).

So, if you have any suggestions about this website (which would make it better), it would be greatly accepted. This isn't exactly released to the public yet, he is still trying to find better ways to improve this site be it images, be it ease of editing or what not.

Anyways, look forward to your suggestions.

Here is the link to try it out: Only the registered members can see the link.

Thanks for posting this. And also, I know there's not much client-side scripting on it to make it smoother, quicker, and whatnot. However, I may implement a lot over time - as it's in the first stages of development, I just need ideas of improvement before making it smoother with such scripting.

Haha, cool. A great example of what can be done with this so far is Only the registered members can see the link.

It uses all the features, including the bbcode pages.

How do you make the thing where it's like... "Top 10 Donors" and when someone donates their name goes there automatically? Or would I have to do that manually...?

It's a static builder, it builds the site from whatever you input. The way the menu links are structured means no custom functions for what is displayed - therefore in your case, I'm afraid it'd have to be manually.

Thanks to everyone testing/giving feedback ^^ I appreciate it.

PS: Swift, I noticed you built a little site. Just to create a little convinience for you now, link URLs in the menu bar should start with Only the registered members can see the link. for external links, otherwise the link will just be pended to the current URL that the user is located on.

its on a subdomain, its easy to set up, instead of doing it all yourself.

No, your mis-interpreting what I meant. I meant as opposed to other software that had the same goal.
