1. check ps3 website -- anounced as they will offer premium but not forced to pay you will get more bonuses however if you do
2. i never get dced from my ps3 connection then again i am wired in maybe your friend uses wireless?
3. ps3 hasnt patched the mw2 prestige hack yet because it is done through using a proxy to your computer and to fix it they would have to remove the proxy option which they will not do because
they advertised the proxy on the original boxes which would mean they were false advertising
4. their is only the prestige hack for mw2 and it only gets u to level 1 of tht prestige.. u dont get any challenges, titles or emblems except the prestige ones when doing it on ps3,

Actually yes your right the makers of the games do have some say into how well the graphics are.. agreed but they are still restricted by system capabilities if a system cant render the graphics then no matter how much you try you wont be able to play a game to its best setting and truth be told playstation has slightly better graphics handling than xbox its not majorly noticable for most games but its when developers decide to push a high graphics game into the market e.g. god of war for ps3 you begin to see a difference.. i know god of war was only released for ps3 because its a ps3 exclusive but i seriously question if an xbox could handle the graphics as well as a ps3 for god of war.. heh i might be wrong but i doubt it ;)

how can microsoft stop people modifying the console? excuse me you do realise most hacks for the mw2 game even using a j-tag need to have some serverside connection for them to work how else does it save to the server... :\ i could modify a ps3 to hack something but it doesnt work you want to know why? the servers stop it e.g. this is ps3.. you can dl completed game data for games for ps3 thats fine however now games such as grand theft auto have caught onto this
and in gta iv if you try to pull this stunt it realises its not your save data and doesnt let you load it! server side protection! microsoft need to grow up and stop patching stuff all the time then to realise they have made another error else where.. thats the only reason you get more patches than ps3 because the patches keep screwing up and more bugs and glitches are uncovered requiring more patchs..

o and just to clarify ps3 has had kinetic movement for rather a long time before any other console its called the eye-toy its rather old infact it was released on ps2 thats how old it is, they are bringing out a new one however to work with a much better controller so im looking forward to that... i believe its project name is project gem? you can google it i suppose considering thats where you probably get most of your facts altho it has got a real name now as it will be released rather soon i believe ;)


and lastly ive done the prestige hack on ps3 dont tell me how to do it, its not as easy as copy file edit and paste back onto ps3, you have to connect to the ps3 servers through your pc, edit the files using tools and software and then reconnect paste it on, do some little glitches with split screen and online and then you get the 10th prestige and tbh its not a great hack tbh.. :\ very disapointing

+ can i also say if you think we get a lot of host migration etc.. you are wrong? that is purely based on your connection to the internet and the other guy hosting the lobby it is not the psn's fault at least not entirely for example i use cables for my internet which is a lot more reliable than wireless hence i dont get disconnected obviously i dont dispute xbox have a better online service but guess why? you have to pay for it!!!!

lastly the usb "hacks" you refer to are practically non - existant as ive already said you can upload save game data to memory sticks and put them in game but now game developers are becoming a lot more aware of this and stopping this before it begins e.g. grand theft auto iv if u try to use someone elses game data it will bring up an error message.. and if you are reffering to the call of duty modern warefare 2 where u use a memory stick to simply transfer a file between pc to ps3? that is not the memory stick hacking you then need to use proxy adresses to connect to ur own pc through ur ps3 and thn mess about with the files.. not simply upload a hack via the memory stick.. and your only connected to psn via the proxy for a short ammount of time because thn the psn disconnects you.

lastly the usb "hacks" you refer to are practically non - existant as ive already said you can upload save game data to memory sticks and put them in game but now game developers are becoming a lot more aware of this and stopping this before it begins e.g. grand theft auto iv if u try to use someone elses game data it will bring up an error message.. and if you are reffering to the call of duty modern warefare 2 where u use a memory stick to simply transfer a file between pc to ps3? that is not the memory stick hacking you then need to use proxy adresses to connect to ur own pc through ur ps3 and thn mess about with the files.. not simply upload a hack via the memory stick.. and your only connected to psn via the proxy for a short ammount of time because thn the psn disconnects you.

I do not know about the insides of the xbox but i think it would be fairly obvious for Microsoft the largest computer software developer (that i know of) to be able to fix J-tag problems.. of course they cant stop people putting them into their machines however surely they could monitor the effects of a J-tag more closely? an example: my friend who has an xbox 360 bought a J-tag and for about a year got away with prestiging peoples accounts in exchange for microsoft points etc.. eventually he got banned but by that time he no longer cared for his xbox enough. my point being surely Microsoft would be able to recognise the difference between a normal xbox accessing a call of duty server to one that has a J-tag and then simply banning the one with a J-tag.. i think its fairly obvious that if someone is running at an abnormal speed, or has 10th prestige in 3 hours they would be able to see that and act.. but no it took a year? alarming for such a HIGH PROFILE company.

I chose the XBox 360 simply because I have one and have loved having it, ever since the Christmas it came out. £300 well spent in my case - definitely. I was a Playstation guy before I got the 360, and I am quite gutted when I'm unable to play certain games simply due to Sony exclusives, but there are some awesome Microsoft exclusives as well. To be honest, I can play a PS3 at my best friend's house any time I want as well, so it's not as though I'm missing out on much.

i believe it is true that if you build the pc to certain specs then ofc it will be better than a ps3 or xbox but i think the problem with pc is its more orientated around everything in general than just gaming hence why game developers choose a gaming platform such as ps3 or xbox over the pc also because the companies know that only a few people would have the right specs for pcs to play it in such a good quality as compared to a ps3 or xbox where they have set specs anyway that the game developers can work towards building their games for.. + there is a bigger market in ps3's/xbox 360's for gaming compared to computers

Edit: it always seems to me that if you compare a console game that is also released on computer such as the call of duty series you find that on computers it always seems a tiny bit more glitchy than on ps3/xbox 360 + on pc the servers are hacked a lot quicker than xbox and ps3 and you can even hack the games to use your own maps in single player and online if you host privately :S -- i believe thts how it works online for pc call of duty hackers anyway
