the client login screen

I was wondering, does anyone know how to find The code for the login screen and to supposedly change some stuff in it, say the background image, the text, etc. Etc. I've done a lot of looking and all my searches are hopeless.

If I was you, I'd try to look for the coordinates of the sprites in all of the java files ;) or for the text. I did that for 317 non-renamed deob back in 2008, and found it.
