My idea for my 562 is instead of making players unable to login when they're banned, they are sent to the abyss. The only way to get out is a disk of returning. To get one you must make a new account receive a disk of returning go to the abyss give it to your old account and your old account can get out but your new one can't.

Nice idea, but what abyss will it bring you to?
The map data that was in runescape got deleted before 317.

Sounds good but that means they can just make a new account called E.G. ghgruh and go there so it's not really banning.

That's good maybe look at this to give you some ideas:
Only the registered members can see the link.

I've never seen someone use it before, but there are some flaws ..
I dunno, maybe set a timer where they have to stay in there for a minimum set amount of time?
Sounds like a great idea though, I would love to see something like that.

The void in the original RS2 was a blank part of the map; ie black.

I did try this before on a 317 and it worked out but I would always try to code it so people can't use cheat clients to get in and out... but they always would noclip out, so what you should do it make it so they can't move at all when your in there, or make it underground.

What's your plan when they use it? Do they keep it to sell to another player?

I did something like this except the people who were banned couldn't leave at all.
The only way they could leave is if someone dropped the disk of returning and the person used telekinetic grab but they're runes were removed when they were banned.
