Does anyone know of a tool that can detect hardware failure?

Because at first (A few days go) I got a BSOD, A long with psyical memory dump.
And now today, I PC just completely froze.
It cannot be a Virus doing this, because my A-V would have alerted me about it.

Soo yeah, does anyone know of a tool that can detect hardware failure?

It may be my HDD, but then again my PC would alert me if my HDD is on its way out.
Or it could be possible that my RAM sticks have just bout had it; because its a coincidence that I got a BSOD and then this..
Thanks in advance.

You'll need:

1x Blank CD/DVD
1x Blank CD/DVD Burner (CD/DVD-ROM Drive)

Download a copy of memtestx86 from here: Only the registered members can see the link.
Burn the ISO to the CD/DVD (make sure you select a burn disk image option - otherwise you'll just get a CD/DVD with an ISO file on it, we don't want that.)
Leave the CD/DVD in your Primary CD/DVD-ROM Drive.
Shutdown Windows
Turn on your PC but press a button for a boot menu (I press F8, you may need to enter the BIOS and change the boot settings)
When it asks you to 'To boot from CD/DVD press any key...' press enter, space or any key you wish.
Run memtest86, if it finds any errors then your RAM could be faulty.

Apologises for late response, but update: There was no errors found O.o

Soo what could the problem possibly be :S
Well in advance, i've disabled the option that automaticlly makes the computer reboot its self after a BSOD occoured.

Hopefully this time, i'll be able to google those errors.
