Hello, and welcome to my guide on making money in F2P on RuneScape. This will cover how to make some easy cash on the free version of the game.

Table of Contents

Low Levels
-Monsters: Cows
-Woodcutting: Yews(Requires 65+ Woodcutting, 65 makes it easier to cut Yews)
-Fishing: Lobsters and Swordfish
-Mining: Iron, Coal, and Gold(High levels: Do Mithril at 60 Mining)

High Levels
-Monsters: Cockroaches

Low Levels

Cows

When you have started training(If you're level 3, train at Goblins until you're combat level 8+), you can go to the Cows, which are to the East of the two Lumbridge bridges. Once you have went through the fence, you can start to kill Cows. Cows are great experience as well. Once you have killed a Cow, pick up their hides, and collect them for great cash.

Woodcutting

Once you have gotten Woodcutting(35-65), you will be able to cut Yews at level 60. I heavily advise you to cut Yews at level 65 Woodcutting(with a Rune hatchet, of course). This will get you great cash.

Fishing

At around 50 Fishing, you should start fishing Lobsters for cash. At 60 Fishing to 80 Fishing, you should fish Swordfish, which are 200 gold pieces more than Lobsters. Great money.

Mining

At level 60, you should mine Mithril or Gold. If you're lower level, such as 50, you should mine Gold, Coal, and Iron for cash. An alternate method is Pure essence on a Members' server.

High(er) Levels

Once you're at a higher level(70-80), it's a good idea to go to Cockroaches(Around level 83). Cockroaches have a chance of dropping Rune scimitars. If you have a weapon such as an Adamant scimitar, and if you're 40 Attack and don't already have a Rune scimitar, then this is a good idea to try and get one. You can either sell the scimitar or keep it. Rune scimitars are 20-30k each.

Members guide(going to be much bigger) coming soon.

Aff is right and the other guides are not the same. Fishing lobsters is widely known I bet no one knows my cape buying method.

500+ total... why would you need that.. you can easily do this when you get out of Tut island lolz Can you fish Lobsters when you get out of Tutorial Island? No. Quit trolling.

By the way, Tutorial Island isn't available on RuneScape anymore, in fact, I don't even think it's an island anymore.

@Aff this thread is for helping people, people who have not played RuneScape before, forgot how to play, or just are shit at making money would look at this guide. It HELPS. And this is F2P, and it's harder to make money than members. So yeah, you don't need to troll either.

Do you understand the term 'troll'? I am not trolling, I am simply stating that anyone with an IQ of 70 could look at the stat's menu and prices of f2p items, then figure it out.

What the hell do you mean? And when you first use the Grand Exchange, you have to have a tutorial to access it... So where else can they figure out the prices? What if they're completely NEW to the game?
