So, everyone has their own personal 'supply' of pleasurable content or illegal warez / films. Got a shared computer and scared about your family or friends finding your folder? Fear no more; This tutorial will teach you how to hide your folder. Just to note; this method was used by Terrorists on the 9/11 events to transfer data and other files on planning.
So you may ask, How do I start? You require the following:
- 1 .JPG File - Any will do, Even if it's from Google -
- The Archived Folder you wish to hide (.rar / .zip) -
Now place both of these files onto your Desktop - For example, I will use:
- hideme.rar -
- 1.jpg -
Only the registered members can see the link.
Now, Open Command Prompt.
Now, you will want too set the destination for command prompt by typing
cd desktop
Only the registered members can see the link.
Now that you have the correct destination you are going to want to bind the files by typing the following command, In my case it would be
copy /b 1.jpg + hideme.rar picture.jpg
Only the registered members can see the link.
The outcome for this will be a file called 'picture.jpg'.
Only the registered members can see the link.
Now for the fun part. You now have a .JPEG file with a hidden archive inside it; So you're thinking - What does that do, Well if you open the .JPG file it will still show the original image that you first used. However if you open the .JPG with WinRar you will find your hidden files.
Below is the outcome of the tutorial, 'picture.jpg' opened in Windows Photo Gallery and WinRar.
Only the registered members can see the link.
Happy Hiding!
