[PLEASE VOTE] Buying an AGS or Full bandos + DFS + Whip

AGS + TORSO + TORAGS LEGS or full bandos + DFS + whip

Me and my friend are having a debate on whether to purchase and AGS or full bandos + DFS + whip. He believes the AGS will go up in 2 months, maybe to 100m, and giving us 20M profit. What should we do?

Yes, but with a Whip, it's just as good - Faster - Plus, we can us the Dragon Fire Shield and Full Bandos. Much better.

Personally I would go with this: If you don't know which to choose make some compromises and try to get a little of both (especially if you're doing it for PvM) for instance:

Tassets: 26.5m
Fighter Torso: Free (well free from any cash at least...)
Saradomin Godsword: 56.2m

that's only around 6.5m more than an Armadyl Godsword: 79.5m

and you'll get the same strength bonus as full bandos (less defence though but it happens)
and you'll get a higher strength bonus than just buying an Armadyl Godsword (plus Saradomin Godsword's special is BEAUTIFUL for PvM especially slayer.)

I find really no point with Godswords, only thing I do is Flip merch them ( great profit :P). Buy the Whip , DFS , and the bandos ; it benefits you a lot more.

Overall it does but you have to look at the fact that he's only 104 cb aka there's a lot of training to be done and you can't train str with a whip/dfs now if he was 130+ I would recommend full bandos with a dfs/whip and if you have the cash for it buy an sgs anyways because like I stated earlier it's a beastly PvM weapon with it's special attack.

More Str Bonuses..Might not get as high as AGS but yea...If you got a good armor now and you wanna PK just get an AGS..

I laughed when I read iTz's post... first of all lets look at strength bonuses:

Whip + Dfs = 89

GodSword = 132

Now for the max hit with bandos + dragon boots + barrows gloves + berserker ring (i) (this is with my str level which is 98 atm) while praying piety and super strength potted:

Whip + Dfs = 529

GodSword = 644

And let's not forget WHY a Saradomin GodSword is an amazing PvM weapon it's special attack:

Healing Blade
Inflicts normal damage, but restores half of the damage to your life points and a quarter to your Prayer. You will receive a minimum of 100 life points and 5 Prayer. AKA if you hit a 644 with special that's a free 322 Constitution points restored and 16 prayer points restored.

Whip Special and DFS Special

Energy drain
This attack is more accurate and, if successful, will transfer 25% of your opponent's run energy to you.

DragonFire Shield Special
Requires the shield to be charged and when used uncharges the shield this special is alright if used against a dragon but other than that decreases the effectiveness of your shield losing +50 from ALL of it's defence stats (except magic)
