Since you closed that thread I can't reply. You can't perform SQL querys from client-side JavaScript. Obviously you can use it server-side assuming you have some kind of tool/library that's designed to execute it, the point wasn't not being able to use a client-side language server-side, it was that you can't do server-side tasks client-side, such as making SQL calls.

Yeah, I've been looking at jQuery Mobile a lot, and I certainly like it . It's just a matter of finding an IDE that's fairly simple (I have other people working on this who are much less experienced) and doesn't cost $50 a month, ahaha. But I'll look into the IDEs mentioned throughout those threads and hopefully I can find one that isn't too bad . Thanks much.

You haven't happened to have done any webpages for mobile apps, have you? I'm creating a big app for my school and using a bunch of mobile HTML 5 / JS / CSS / PHP pages to do it. I'm having trouble finding a solid IDE, though, so I was wondering if you knew of one?
